Democratic Party of the Virgin Islands Launches its Redesigned Website
October 23, 2020
St. Croix, VI – With the dedication of our team, the Democratic Party of the Virgin Islands is pleased to announce the launch of our newly redesigned website at https://democraticpartyvi.org/
“We are thrilled to debut our new website to Virgin Islanders in the territory and across the diaspora, and to everyone around the world looking to understand the breadth of our efforts,” said State Chair, Glen Smith. “This website redesign ties together the disparate strands of our work on many legislative and policy fronts.” National Committee Man, Angel Bolques, Jr. says, “It’s a useful one stop, where users can learn about the agendas of new candidates and those up for re-election.”
“Our primary goal during the redesign process was to create a valuable, user-centric, interactive and responsive resource. Specifically, we wanted to focus on making it easy for users to locate valuable information in one place about Democratic candidates—their work, thought leadership, legislative committees, key events, and measurable results for Virgin Islanders,” said Teri Helenese, the Executive Director.
The redesigned site features a streamlined modern design, Home Pages photographed by the esteemed Don Hebert which showcase his jaw dropping and picturesque scenes on St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St. John. The Democratic Party of the Virgin Islands thanks him for his gracious contribution. The new site also includes improved functionality, easy access to essential information including the 2020 Democratic Party of the Virgin Islands Platform, a COVID-19 Share Your Story feature, biographies, and informational links on the candidates to help voters make well-informed decisions about kitchen table issues and longer-term policy objectives.
Join Governor Albert Bryan Jr., and Democrats on Saturday, October 24, 5 to 7 pm, for a Virtual Town Hall on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/democratsvi. Keep up to date on our latest events, meetings, socials, workshops, town halls, seminars/webinars and announcements in our Events and Media Center sections.
